Love aids?

There's the original white plastic one... the celebrity endorsed ones... the pastel coloured, but slightly less powerful ones... and now the tiny ones perfect for discreet use... and once the battery runs out (as they so famously do) you can't get no satisfaction...

What am I talking about? Well probably not what you think...

Rufus Wainwright, Dugong & Nick Cave

This entry was originally part of a separate, personal blog. I've merged them together now to make life easier.

-------------------------------

It's been absolutely ages since I've written here. Not too sure why, haven't exactly been busy...

I've discovered Rufus Wainwright - his new album "Want Two", the follow up to "Want One", is very good. I've been listening to it a lot recently. So much so, that I've been and bought some of his previous albums - including "Want One" and "Rufus Wainwright".

I'm not into writing reviews, not right now anyway. Although I guess I could attempt one if you wanted!

I also need to mention Dugong - they're a local band, who are also very good...

And Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds - they've been invading my ears!

All of these artists I'd recommend.

I will think of something better to write soon...

Packaging Fiasco!

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Big boxes, big bags, excessive packaging really gets on Mr Ikasu's tits. He's harnessed his basic physics knowledge and some measuring jugs to show us all just how wrong McVities Jaffa Muffins are - it's 230% larger than the actual muffin!

Paul, you might enjoy this...

A mystery envelope...

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Would you pay $7,600 for a mystery envelope? That's £3,957.92 (at today's exchange rate). Don't believe that someone has? Well look at the Mystery Envelope Auction on eBay.

I wonder what's in it...

1 - Cute kitten photo! (via B3TA.com)

2 - An albino squirrel (via B3TA.com) - apparently it lives on a university campus. Dunno which one, but there you go...

3 - It seems as though scientific boffins are breeding foxes as pets. (via B3TA.com)

Well here I am back at uni. My first day after teaching has gone really well - kinda flew by though.

Anyway, I love Blink-o-rama... Basically it's pictures of (US) celebrities mid-blink... give it a look: Blink-o-rama

-------------------------------

I wouldn't normally do this, but I thought it would be nice to help others from this site for once...

Back in December 2004, 3,800 people downloaded The Spaceshots song "Promise the World" from the Pitchfork Media website. This month you can get the entire CD for free. The only thing they're asking is that if you really like it to tell people.

The band would love to find somone to release their CD and letting people hear the music is quite possibly the best way to spread the word.

The guitars are big, the hooks are huge, the music is FREE! Go to www.cherrydisc.com and download individual tracks or the whole CD. Just listen.

A small update...

I know I said that updates would be more frequent but that's not really going to happen... well not yet anyway. Tomorrow I'm in hospital so updates won't happen for a good week or so. I'm not going to be in long, but need to rest!
